Frequently Asked Questions
Wait… When and Where is the wedding?
If you’ve made it this far without that information, we are honestly impressed. Concerned. But impressed.
Date: May 2nd, 2026
Location: The Century Club – 106 W 11th St, Kansas City, MO (5th Floor)
Entrance is on 11th Street — just hop in the elevator and come on up!
Is the ceremony and reception in the same place?
Yes! Once you arrive, you’re set for the evening. No transportation logistics, no herding Ubers, no stress.
Also, everything will be indoors — so whether a Kansas City Spring gives us sunshine, wind, or its classic meteorological identity crisis, we’re covered.
What time should I arrive?
Plan to arrive at least 15–20 minutes early to find your seat and get settled. We’ll start right at 4:00 PM, and once the ceremony begins, the doors will be closed.
If you arrive after 4:00, you’ll be enjoying a brief, reflective moment outside with the other time-optimists until we say “I do.”
What does “formal attire” mean?
Floor-length and formal midi dresses, or dress pants with a jacket and tie are perfect.
Please avoid whites, creams or other bridal colors. Also: no denim, no polo shirts, and no “but they’re my fancy jeans” negotiations.
Where should I stay? Is there parking near the venue?
We have room blocks Hotel Indigo and Courtyard Marriott Downtown Kansas City. You can also look in the Downtown or Crossroads areas for other hotels or Airbnbs. If you’re unsure about location, reach out — we’re happy to help you pick a good spot!
There’s a parking garage at W 10th St & Baltimore, right next to the venue. Your formal shoes will thank you.
Please see our Travel & Stay page for more info!
Can I bring my children?
We love your tiny humans — we really do. However, we’ve decided to have an adults-only celebration (with the exception of our flower girl).
We know this can require extra planning and truly appreciate you making the effort to celebrate with us. We promise an evening worth the babysitter logistics.
What if I have dietary needs or restrictions?
Please let us know (in the RSVP) if you have dietary restrictions. We’ll work with our caterer to do our best to accommodate you!
What’s the bar situation?
Oh, there will be one.
(Open bar — please celebrate responsibly and plan transportation accordingly.)
Can I take photos?
We love a good camera roll moment. We just ask that during the ceremony you keep phones silenced and let our photographer do their thing. After that, snap away and tag responsibly.
What should I do when not celebrating this fabulous couple?
Eat. Drink. Explore. Repeat.
Check out the Things to Do page for some of our favorite Kansas City spots — food, drinks, and fun approved by us (which obviously makes them elite).
Where can I find your registry?
So glad you asked. What a thoughtful and generous question.

Who should I contact with questions the week of the wedding?
To keep the everyone calm and blissfully unaware of minor emergencies, please direct day-of questions to the groom, Joe Herba. He is just as good at fixing chaos as he is at causing it.
